How we do it
Our process is closer to restoring a car's finish than cleaning the glass. We start with cleaning the soap scum away, then work the surface with the polishers, the kind used on car paint. It may take several passes until the glass is clear. Then we rinse, dry, and finish with a shine. It takes about an hour per panel.
We use the mildest products that will do the job, though you may notice some fumes, and we never use tools that scratch glass. One thing to know: if someone tried to remove the buildup with a razor blade before, which is common advice on YouTube and TikTok, the buildup often hides the fine scratches it leaves. Once we clear the glass, those scratches can show, and we cannot remove them.
