THE SERVICE
What Mt. Rose does

Kitchen Reset
We spend four to five hours on one kitchen, ceiling to floor. That includes the places routine cleaning skips: cabinet tops, the hood, the wall and ceiling above the stove, light fixtures, and floor edges. The kitchen ends up feeling and smelling fresh, the way it did before years of cooking built up.
$480-$680

Oven Spa
We clean the oven interior by hand, using a soap-based degreaser and steam instead of harsh sprays. Buildup that's hidden in the seams for years comes out. The oven ends up close to the condition it was in the day it was installed.
$200 +

Shower glass cleaning
We restore shower glass that's gone cloudy or etched from hard water, using polishing tools rather than harsh chemicals. Glass that looked permanently damaged comes back clear, at a fraction of the cost of replacing it.
$120 +
HOW WE WORK
What makes Mt. Rose different
We go slow, on purpose
Most cleaning is done fast, room to room. We do the opposite. We take our time and clean one area completely before moving to the next, because that's the only way to actually get underneath years of buildup.
A pharmacist on the team
Maria is a pharmacist by training, and she researches every product and tool before we use it. We know exactly what something does at a chemical level, so we can use it carefully and only where it's actually needed.
The least harmful products that still work
We reach for natural ingredients and specialty tools first, and steam over chemicals whenever it gets the job done. Harsh products are a last resort, not a default.
We treat your home like our own
We live in South Reno too. We know what it feels like to have people in your home, so we treat every kitchen the way we'd want ours treated.
OUR STORY
The team behind Mt. Rose
Mt. Rose Precision Cleaning is Maria Markovetski and Anya Nikulina, two South Reno moms.
It started with one of us climbing a ladder and looking at the top of her kitchen cabinets up close. The tops were covered with grease and dust packed together into something that did not wipe off. Then there was a sticky film coating the cabinet door above the microwave. There were spots on the ceiling and dust on the light fixtures. The sides of the cabinets next to the hood were unpleasant to touch. The backsplash was dotted with tiny specks of food that had dried to the surface.
All seemed clean from afar, but it was not.
Once you start noticing, you see one thing after another, like a snowball you cannot stop. So we started figuring out how to remove it. And then thought that others might want that too.

Maria Markovetski
Maria Markovetski is a pharmacist. She has dedicated her career to understanding how things work at a chemical level. She explores what is safe, what is effective, and why. This is the thinking she brings to deep cleaning.
Maria is the one researching solutions and tools for Mt. Rose: What removes grease from surfaces safely? It should be non-damaging, easy to breathe, and safe to touch. She promotes natural ingredients first, and only what is necessary beyond that. She has always seen the gap between how clean something looks and how clean it really is. We are going after really clean.

Anya Nikulina
Anya Nikulina is the other person behind Mt. Rose Precision Cleaning. She spent 20 years designing digital experiences. She brings the customer side to Mt. Rose: understanding what people actually need and how they find us. And then she enjoys seeing the problem, solving it completely, and watching someone walk back into their kitchen and feel the difference.
