That's what a kitchen reset actually means
Why your kitchen never feels fully clean
Most kitchens are cleaned regularly. The surfaces you use every day get wiped down. But grease from cooking rises and settles on cabinet tops, walls, light fixtures, and the hood, and dust sticks to it. It slowly builds up in places you rarely look. The kitchen gets a little duller each year, and it's hard to say why.
Every kitchen needs to be properly cleaned at some point. All of it.
The Kitchen Reset
Two people will spend several hours on just one kitchen.
Here is exactly what we will do:

Clear out your counters and cabinet tops of all the items.

Clean off dust and dirt from the ceiling and walls, including above the stove, where grease and dust accumulate the most.

Remove grease and dust from the top of the cabinets, and properly clean the facades and sides. Clean and buff appliance exteriors. Wipe light fixtures and bulbs. Clean doorframes, switches, and outlets.

Degrease and clean the hood and microwave inside and out. Remove grease, food spatter, and residue from the backsplash. Clean and buff countertops.

Scrub baseboards and floor edges, and mop the floor.
To do all this will take four to five hours. If you need something beyond this scope, let us know.
We clean with natural ingredients — baking soda, vinegar, soap, alcohol, and oil — and use commercial degreasers only when the oven and range require them.
Your kitchen deserves this level of clean
Most homes get this kind of clean twice: when you move in and when you move out. Everything else is maintenance.
Once your kitchen receives the Kitchen Reset, you will see the improvement immediately. The cabinet doors and countertops will reflect light sharply. The dusty line along the top of the cornice will be gone. The light fixtures and clock faces will no longer look fuzzy or dull. The inside of your windows will be clean. We are Anya and Maria, and we do the cleaning ourselves. We both have families and we both cook for them. We know what an actively used kitchen actually looks like. We started with the Kitchen Reset because that is where the gap between clean and properly clean is most visible.
